Summer is here, which means more smoking hot islanders have jetted off to Mallorca to find love under the sweltering sun. Season ten has just drawn to a close, but if you missed any episodes there’s still time to catch up – here’s how to watch Love Island 2023 from anywhere in the world.

This was the tenth season of Love Island, a show which started all the way back in 2015. Promising as many twists and turns as ever, this summer season brought more drama, power couples and, lest we forget, the £50,000 cash prize.
This year’s original couples were: Ruchee & Mehdi, Catherine & André, Jess & George, Ella & Tyrique, and Molly & Mitchel. Since the start, producers drip fed bombshells into the villa with the keen eye of ratings-hungry entertainment bosses. Throughout this season, audience members took to Twitter to ponder whether this season shaped up to be the best season yet.
After weeks and weeks of cracking on, Love Island Season 10 ended on Monday night – and what a foray into double digits this season has been. In the previous week, the couples declared their undying love for one another, and on Sunday night, avid fans of the show were given the chance to vote for their winning couples.
Before Monday night’s Love Island final, we got our popcorn ready and braced ourselves for an evening of montages, sparkly outfits, and tear-jerking declarations of love. Maya Jama welcomed guests and avid fans of the show to the iconic Menorcan villa and the eight remaining islanders strutted over to the fire pit to find out if they would be declared the winners of Summer Love Island 2023.
But first, the islanders were shown clips of their time in the villa. Many of the finalists had been in the villa since early June, so having their memories rounded up and played for all to see caused many a tear to be shed.
Eventually, though, it was time for the couples who received the fewest votes to be announced – although, the finalists didn’t seem to care so much about winning, having seemingly all found love in the villa. In fourth place was Zach and Molly, who got together right at the start of the show, but had their love affair interrupted when bombshell Kady stole Zach from her. Thankfully, Molly re-entered the villa during Casa Amor, a move hotly contested by Love Island Twitter fans, and the pair sailed through to the final.
In third place was Ella and Tyrique, who had been cracking on since the very first episode. They’ll be the first to admit that they’d had a bumpy road, including the time when Ella recoupled with new boy Ouzy in Casa Amor, but the couple has gone from strength to strength in recent weeks, eventually becoming boyfriend and girlfriend on their final date.
That left two final couples – Sammy and Jess, and Whitney and Lochan. While Sammy and Jess had a similarly bumpy ride to Ella and Tyrique, Whitney and Lochan found love in Casa Amor and have been tunnel vision for one another ever since. Unfortunately for them, Whitney and Lochan received second place, meaning they’ll leave the villa empty-handed. That is, apart from their relationship and the adoration of their newfound fan base back home.
So the winners of Summer Love Island 2023, taking home the hefty £50,000 prize money, were Sammy and Jess. This is a huge turn of events for the couple, having previously been voted least compatible by the public in two separate votes. Despite having a rocky time of things since their relationship blossomed in the first week of the show, the pair have been on an upward journey these last few weeks, and we can’t wait to see what they get up to in the outside world.
Now, viewers are left to speculate on which Love Island 2023 couples will last in the real world. Oh, and of course, we’ll be anxiously waiting for the Love Island reunion, which is scheduled to air at 9 PM on ITV2 on 6 August 2023.

Love Island 2023: Are there any changes announced for Love Island season 10?
We’re all familiar with the format of summer Love Island by now and ITV has not yet announced if there will be any major changes to the format for this summer. However, given that this is the show’s 10th season, we’re sure producers have something good up their sleeves. Excitingly, this will be Maya Jama’s first time presenting the show in the Mallorcan villa we have all come to know and love.
As with previous seasons, the show will continue to uphold its commitment to duty of care. This includes a change introduced for the January 2023 season which made the islanders pause all social media activity for the duration of their time on the show. That means no friends, family or social media managers will be allowed to post on any islander’s behalf, which rids us of a bit of juicy family commentary but allows the islanders some peace of mind.
The show will also provide eight therapy sessions on how to cope with the fame that the show catapults young people into (and its accompanying downsides), as part of a program of “comprehensive psychological support”. Before entering the show, the islanders will also be given training in financial management and the impacts of social media. Ties won’t be severed after contestants have lugged their suitcases down the villa’s driveway either; the show’s producers have mandated “proactive contact” with islanders for a hefty 14 months after the season ends.
In the run-up to previous seasons of Love Island, producers have been known to tease fans on social media with a drip feed of animated videos. The social media accounts, which boldly claim “We own love,” have been silent since the recent Love Island season 9 reunion, so we’ll be keeping an eye out on their pages for any juicy updates. Who will host Love Island 2023?
Maya Jama
Following the departure of Laura Whitmore, in October 2022 ITV announced that Maya Jama will be taking the wheel, answering many viewers’ prayers to have her present the show. Delighted fans claim that Jama could save the show from an untimely demise by adding spice and a fresh loyal fanbase to the show. Richard Cowles, the managing director of Lifted Entertainment, said, “There are very few people who could fill the role of Love Island host but Maya Jama has it all.”
Love Island won’t be Jama’s first reality TV rodeo, as the television presenter and former BBC Radio 1 DJ has previously presented Channel 4’s The Circle as well as MTV’s True Love or True Lies.
